世界的バレエダンサー熊川哲也氏が主宰するバレエスクール「K-BALLET SCHOOL 武蔵小杉」の内装デザイン。オフィス用に設えられたビルの1フロアを3部屋のレッスンスタジオをもつバレエスクールへとリノベーションした。
2面がガラスファサードとなっている区画の特徴を生かし、外周に面するようにレッスンスタジオを配置。既存のシステム天井を残し、壁面を全面ミラー貼りとしたスタジオは外部の景色が映り込む開放的な空間となった。一方で、休憩スペースを兼ねたエントランスと廊下ではキーカラーとして淡いベージュ色を採用。各所に円弧を用いたデザインとし、落ち着いた居心地の良さを感じる設えとしている。「動」と「静」の切り替えのある場所となることを目指した。

The interior design of K-BALLET SCHOOL MUSASHIKOSUGI, led by world-renowned ballet dancer Tetsuya Kumakawa, converts the floor of an office building into three lesson studios for a ballet school.
Taking advantage of the two glass façades, the lesson studios were positioned along the windows. The existing ceiling system was preserved, while the studio walls were renovated with mirrors, creating a bright, open space that reflects the surrounding landscape. Soft beige was chosen as the primary color palette for the entrance and hallway, which also serves as a break area. Arcs are incorporated throughout the design, lending a calming atmosphere to the space. We aimed to create a place that seamlessly transitions between “movement” and “stillness.”
